Green Thumb Projects, a residential green Building company based in Hood River, is seeking an entry-level worker interested in learning about eco-friendly building and being part of a great team of builders.

We’re looking for a person who has a strong work ethic, works well with others, and appreciates the value of building high- efficiency buildings with nontoxic materials and sustainably sourced materials. We will help train you in almost every aspect of construction from framing high-efficiency walls and building a foundation to interior finishing and metal roofing.

Our projects range from super-insulated 12 inch thick framed walls with roofs that grow wildflowers to modern strawbale homes with systems to harvest rainwater as their primary water source.
