Cabinet Maker / Fabricator
Position Summary:
Responsible for constructing and assembling custom cabinetry and millwork according to specifications and drawings. This hands-on role requires precision, attention to detail, and strong woodworking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce high-quality cabinetry
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Operate various woodworking machinery, including table saws, routers, planers, and jointers
- Build cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, and other components to precise measurements
- Assisting with applying finishes, hardware, and accessories to completed pieces
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform quality control checks on completed work
- Lead and perform installations of work
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in cabinet making or relevant woodworking preferred
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of different wood types, adhesives, and finishing techniques is preferred
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Strong math skills for precise measurements
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 120 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
