Position Description
We are currently seeking a thoughtful, motivated, and creative Marketing and Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position will provide marketing and administrative support primarily for our Hood River, Oregon office as well as our offices across the country. The ideal person is passionate about procurement processes, winning work, is skilled with developing and maintaining information systems, maintains graphic layout expertise and persuasive writing skills; thrives in an energetic, collaborative work environment; and is looking to continuously enhance their expertise and take on additional responsibilities.
Approximately 60% of the role is anticipated to be providing marketing coordination support with the remainder available for administrative support of the offices and projects. The candidate in this position will have exposure to many different business processes across the company, with the opportunity to pursue and develop skills and expertise in many diverse areas.
Location: Hood River, OR
The candidate will ideally be in the office 5 days per week. The nature of this position ideally requires frequent office presence to engage personally with administrative and technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- A liberal arts BA or BS degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in marketing/communications, graphic design, journalism, policy, or related field
- 2+ Years of experience in the marketing and communications fields
- Experience developing inclusive marketing content that reflects the diverse clients and communities that our company serves
- Graphic Design expertise and training – proficient in: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, MS Office Suite, StoryMaps, current website content management systems, social media platforms
Essential Duties
- Develop, draft, and coordinate preparation of compelling proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview materials including managing proposal schedules and internal deadlines
- Maintain collateral materials including resumes, images, brochures, business cards, postcards, advertisements, posters, design reports, swag, and other graphic materials
- Contribute to and help maintain information and photo databases including writing project descriptions and updating project information for future use on submittals
- Understanding and/or interest in client procurement processes and systems, including State and Federal procurement
- Develop award submittals
- Develop conference PowerPoint presentations
- Provide event planning and assistance
- Manage brand style guide and help support effective and accurate representation of the Inter-Fluve brand on deliverables
- Assist staff with additional tasks as needed including reports, grants, permitting outreach
- Assist local technical staff with booking travel and placing supply orders as needed
- If interested, and workload bandwidth allow, prepare and issue project invoices based on contractual language
- Additional duties as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $55K – 70K, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position will remain open until filled. Inter-Fluve cannot support international work visas.
