I’m a recently graduated college student living in the gorge with my 8 year old male cat named Otis. I took full responsibility for this cat while in school, seeing that I wanted to give it the best life possible when its original owners could not. I recently was accepted in my dream position in the Peace Corps, which will require me to move to Thailand for 2 years. This was a decision I don’t take lightly, and I want to find the best home for my cat while I am away. He can thrive both as an indoor and outdoor cat, and would do best in a calmer home environment. He lives well with other cats and children, but may take time to adjust to large or rambunctious dogs. I ideally would love to have Otis fostered for the 2 years that I’m away, taking him back under my care when I return to the U.S. I understand that this may be hard for prospective families, and I’m willing consider full adoption if the home fits him well, I just want to make sure he is loved and cared for! I would love to ideally meet in person if interested to discuss living situation and options. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and in good health.
