Position Summary

The Tasting Room Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving wine and wine club sales, and maintaining a welcoming and polished tasting environment. The ideal candidate is confident, engaging, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Provide warm, knowledgeable, and engaging hospitality to all guests
• Lead guided wine tastings, sharing the Syncline story and farming / winemaking philosophy with guests
• Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for guests and fellow Syncline team members
• Actively sell wine and wine club memberships in the tasting room, meeting and exceeding sales goals when possible
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tasting room, restrooms, and outdoor areas
• Assist with daily tasting room operations, including opening/closing, customer service, and point-of-sale accuracy
• Follow all Washington State liquor laws and company policies

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality, retail, or wine industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales-driven with the ability to confidently ask for the sale
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings
