THE REALLY COOL STUFF~Daisy is the last of her kind.*
I have searched the entire country, over the past decade or so, trying to find another like her. I have found two, same year and outside appearance, but inside the other two are bunkhouses. Daisy is not.
~Daisy has the largest wrap around front windows of any other travel trailer, no matter how new or old, how big or small, how cheap or expensive.*
These big windows are what first drew me to her.
~She has a cute little green bathtub that I have loved!

*I cannot guarantee that she is the last of her kind or has the biggest windows. Don’t take my word. Do your own research.

THE GOOD STUFF

~She’s really very cute. At 22 ft, she’s approaching the longest you can find that still has that “cute little vintage” look.
~She has a ton of storage space. There are drawers, closets, cabinets, and stowe spaces everywhere. Excellent for full time living.
~The layout is very homey feeling, and is less common, and better thought-out.
~Front dining table can be folded flat against wall or up. It’s about 2 ft long, but accommodates 12″ leaves.
~Full/double size bed with barely used memory foam mattress.
~She has that comfy, homey, 70s feel. The interior walls are all engineered wood paneling with woodgrain look, common in 70s.
~Good size fridge/freezer, about 10 years old.
~Propane stove and oven range work great!
~Real flush toilet, direct connect to septic.
~Freshwater tank with pump holds about 40 gallons.
~Ceiling has beautiful hanging Moravian star lamp.
~Much of interior is still original.

THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF

~She’s really going to need new tires soon.
~The floor on passenger side of trailer is approximately 2″ lower than the other side and around toilet. This is structural and should be addressed soon.
~There are some dings, dents and patched holes (from previous generations of water heaters). They can all be repaired with a little bit of Bondo, or aluminum flux for restoration.
~Almost all plumbing has been replaced with pex over the past few years.
~She has had her share of leaks. There are some stains on ceiling from former leaks. There is one small spot that still needs repair.
~Trailer trunk has bulge in it. Easy fix.
~She has original propane, forced air, central furnace. It needs repaired, but space heaters warm it just fine, even in harsh winters.
~In extreme snow melt this past winter (3 feet of snow on roof), the very front seal started dripping on the inside of window just a bit. It’ll need a bead of caulking run before next winter.
~She has an air conditioner, but it has started making it’s own decisions about when it will or won’t work. It will need replaced.
~Front protection awning needs mounting hardwood replaced. We’ve just been using 2″x2″ studs to hold it open, and I personally think it’s cuter that way.
~Ugly non-original equipment side awning was removed, but some bracket hardware still attached.
~Tongue jack is beginning to give out. Still works, but doesn’t crank quite as well as it should.

THE SKINNY

I put $1,500 asking price as a starting point. Being the last of her kind clearly raises her value. However, she needs a lot of work.
If you’re someone looking for inexpensive housing, it’s probably worth less to you than someone who wants to restore this little gold mine.
I’m not really at all sure what this will sell for. I will entertain a few offers, either under or over asking price, before choosing highest.
Look closely at pictures to see the good and the bad. Some of the pictures have the appearance of a greenish yellow glow. Trailer was parked in maple forest on a really bright sunny day and cast this green glow to everything. There is nothing glowing green in the trailer, I can assure you.
