Bloomsbury is a locally female owned full-service florist company seeking an experienced floral designer. The job includes all aspects of a retail floral operation e.g., floral design in all mediums, fresh product processing, daily cleaning tasks, customer service, merchandising, display, telephone, and in person orders. The position is Full-time May thru October, with flexibility for hours year round. Must be available to work weekends. Must have a good driving record.

Job responsibilities include:

• Wedding & Event floral design, processing, restyling, set up, and take down of weddings and events.
• Must be detail oriented, able to multi task, work well under pressure and time constraints.
• Self-starter, needs to be able to take direction, be self-motivated, and work synergistically with others.

Experience:

• 3 years floral design experience
• 1 years wedding floral design experience *preferred
• 1 year customer service experience
