Golden Goods Sandwich & Bake Shop is seeking hard working employees to fill multiple positions.

These positions include:

• Cashier/Barista
• Sandwich/Prep Cook
• Baker

Cashier/Barista duties primarily include taking orders and making coffee drinks. Additional duties include bussing tables and doing dishes, as well as performing side work and front of house opening/closing duties. We ideally would like someone with at least one year of barista experience, but training is possible.

This is our most forward facing position, and friendly/attentive customer service is the most important attribute we’re looking for. We have great regulars that have found a happy place in our shop. We cherish our interactions with our customers and anyone seeking this position should feel the same.

Hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm  —  Pay starts @ $16/hr + tips

Sandwich/Prep Cook duties include executing orders, food prep, dishes, back of house side work and opening/closing duties. Line cook/food preparation experience is required for this position. We have a small, but efficient kitchen and are seeking someone who can execute our menu with skill and timeliness. Getting quality food out the door quickly is imperative. Being a small kitchen professionalism, friendliness and the ability to work well with others is very important to us.

Hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm — Pay starts @ $18/hr (more DOE) + tips

Baker duties include early morning preparation and baking of pastries and bread. This employee would arrive before the rest of the staff and fill the pastry case before opening. Some form of baking/cooking experience is necessary for this position.

Hours are 6:00am – 1:00pm. But could be earlier if you’re more of an early riser. About 2 hours is just enough time (if you’re efficient) to get out a good selection of pastries before we open for business. — Pay starts @ $18/hr, but could be more DOE.
