Bloomsbury is an established flower shop seeking a Floral Designer / Flower Shop Manager. Owner is looking to step back from daily flower shop management to focus on retail business side and website development and is looking for a responsible and creative individual to help run the shop smoothly. Applicant should have the ability to multitask, exceptional attention to detail, self motivated, and seek out what needs be done.

Must be available to work weekends. Must have a good driving record.

Duties
– Oversee daily operations of the shop, including designing, processing, ordering flowers, delivering flowers, creating seasonal specials for our website
– Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
– Manage website florals and social media
– Create floral arrangements and designs according to customer requests and seasonal trends
– Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
– Train and supervise shop staff, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements

– Floral design experience
– Knowledge of floral design techniques and experience in creating beautiful arrangements
– Familiarity with plants, flowers, and gardening practices
– Previous experience in retail sales or management
– Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and staff effectively
